This adapter set was exclusively designed for the Vixen AXJ mount.
It allows you to use a heavy AXD-TR102 tripod originally intended for the heavy AXD2 mount.
Replace the thread on the AXJ mount with the larger thread and attach your AXJ to a stationary P85DX observatory column or the TR102 tripod.
