Low profile plate mounting block at a low center of gravity with a rotating mechanism

It is a plate mounting block compatible with the low profile attachment plate standard, used together with the Dovetail Slide Bar DD, Dovetail SlideBar PG. Quick-release function to pinch an attaching plate from aside.

Despite strong fixing power, simple attachment with one screw is possible. The rotating mechanism on the base section employs a moderate torque and offers excellent operability in setting composition and panorama shooting. (D)SLR camera can be attached using the quick release angle plate (low profile).

Low center of gravity

A low center of gravity design allows an adjustment of weight balance even with less counterweight when the dovetail slide bar DD is used so that the portability of the POLARIE star tracker is maintained.

Attachable on the camera mounting head

In addition to the dovetail slide bar DD and dovetail slide bar PG, it is attachable on a mounting platform which is provided with a camera screw (1/4 inch, 3/8 inch) to make your camera mounting platform a quick-release version.
