For precision polar axis alignment with POLARIE star tracker

The accessory used when setting up the POLARIE star tracker. For precise alignment of the polar axis using the polar scope, it is necessary to move the POLARIE minutely.

The POLARIE fine adjustment unit facilitates fine adjustment vertically and horizontally. This unit is compatible not only with the POLARIE star tracker but also with the AP polar axis bracket and is used by installing between the camera tripod.

  • Powerful anchoring with a dedicated Panhead shape

    The unit employs a connecting shape that securedly fits with the bottom of the POLARIE star tracker and the AP polar axis bracket, simply attachable by one screw.

  • Double screw type fine adjustment screw for secured attachment

    The unit adopts double screw system which operates by loosening one screw while tightening the other. Due to the structure of the sandwich by screws from both side, fine motion and strong fixation can be realized.

  • Slow-motion switchover function for overseas use

    Depending on the altitude where is used or equipment mounted, tilt angle of the polar axis can be changed in three steps, which makes it possible to use in a wide range from 0 to 85 degrees anywhere.

  • Example application

    This can be used not only with the POLARIE star tracker but also with the AP polar axis bracket.
